Production
The trays designs are ready! Behold it in all of its glory! Pictured below is for the Collector's Edition. The Slayer's Pledge will have the same bottom tray and a smaller upper tray. We'll also include card dividers to make it easy to organize and save your decks. It fits everything sleeved!
We received minis fresh from the molds! Although we're not quite happy with the colors yet. There's also a small issue with the Ironclad's head we're hoping to fix.
Deadline Clarification
April 4th was not a hard deadline for completing the pledge manager. The Pledge Manager is still open and will be for several months. Please use the Pledge Manager if you haven't yet, and contact [email protected] with your backer number if you haven't received an email invitation to Backerkit.
April 4th was when we tallied our orders so we can start figuring out how many units to make with our language partners. Our final order hasn't been placed yet. We will put out an update when we place our final order and product limits are added. Since over 87% of you have already completed the survey, we expect our manufacturing order to be very accurate and we don't expect to hit these limits.
(Note: Surveys are for Kickstarter backers only. If you Late Pledged, you do not need to fill out a survey.)

Production Update
Production has already begun! The miniature molds started last month, and they should be ready in a few weeks. We're working on the insert and hope to have a preview for you within the next month. In April we're wrapping up translations, making final balance tweaks, and prepping files for prototypes. As of now, we're still on schedule.

Translations began on February 6th! Thanks to our incredible playtesters, there have been LOADS of improvements and balance tweaks, and the game has settled into a place that we're super happy with. Here's some of what we've been working on...
The Act IV Elites are now vertical so it's clearer which one is in front of you. We reworked and simplified the Facing ability quite a bit, settling on something simple for the Spear and gave the Shield some fancy tricks. Check out new art by Anailis Dorta for what you'll see on the back of these cards!
We added Prismatic Shard! So now you can do proper custom Prismatic Shard runs. Watcher needed some more punch in Wrath stance, so we buffed Crescendo and introduced Simmering Fury. Ice Cream is now very similar to being like the video game. We reworked Unload as a shiv card to help shivs pack more late game punch. We needed 1 more boss relic that gives energy, and Mark of Pain has been filling that role nicely.
Rulebook
There's a new Rulebook! It includes Quick Start rules so you can start the game in any act, or quickly catch another player up to where you are. Check it out!

Late Pledges are Now Available!

If you're a Kickstarter backer, you can ignore this update.
If you missed the Kickstarter campaign for Slay the Spire: the Board Game, then we have some great news for you!
How to Late Pledge:
- Select a Core Pledge: Slayer's Pledge, Collector's Pledge, or Neow's All-In.
- Choose a language.
- Choose Add-Ons (check image below).
- Enter your email and shipping address.
- Enter payment info and confirm your order.
Estimated shipping rates can be found HERE. VAT charges only apply for customers with addresses in the EU & UK, and will be charged at your country’s general rate.
You will not be charged for your Late Pledge now. We'll give you at least 30 days notice before we charge your card (see schedule below). Once you’ve placed your order, you can cancel it, update your shipping address, or update your payment information. You can contact us to modify your order at [email protected].
Estimated Schedule:
- Summer 2023 - Shipping prices added onto Late Pledges.
- 30 Days Later (minimum) - Cards charged for Late Pledges.
- Autumn 2023 - Shipping addresses locked.
- December 2023 - Fulfillment begins for Late Pledges.
We will update the timeline as these dates get closer. We'll announce when shipping prices have been added to the system. You'll have at least 30 days to review shipping prices before we automatically charge your card.
Once you place your order, there is no further action required from you if you don’t feel the need to check shipping & VAT.
How many sleeves do I need?
The game already includes all Art Sleeves required to play (plus some extras). You don't NEED any additional sleeves!
100 Art Sleeves - You don't need these unless you want to sleeve the Beta Art (4 packs) or Foil Pack (1 pack). All pledges come with the Foil Pack. Beta Art & Foils were intended to be swapped out to customize the look of your game, but some backers are choosing to sleeve them to increase the size of the card reward pools. You can also use sleeves in other games.
Sleeves for Everything Else - This is 300+ clear sleeves (.1mm thick) for non-player cards like monsters, events, relics, bosses, etc. These are not required for play, but they will help protect your cards. Includes extras for damaged sleeves.

All invitations to the Pledge Manager have been sent! If you haven't responded yet, you'll periodically get reminder emails from Backerkit.
What if I didn’t get an invitation?
If you didn't receive an invitation email, please reach out to us through the Kickstarter message system, or email us at [email protected] (include your backer number in emails). Some common issues are:
Apple ID - You won't get Backerkit emails if you use Apple ID to sign in to Kickstarter. Apple ID emails look like [email protected]. If you have this issue, contact us with an alternate email we can use.
Check your Spam Folder - The email subject is “Response Needed — Get your reward for Slay the Spire: The Board Game”.
